About the Show

You saw me in Angry Housewives ages ago, then for the last five years in Hot Flashes the Musical. Now I’m going to stand on a stage, all by myself and tell stories about myself.

Why would any one want to stand on a stage and tell stories about herself? Good question and one I may not fully understand the answer to. Maybe because I can, maybe because it is my job, maybe because it is my gift… or maybe because somehow in the doing of it I think I will set myself free.

Why Can’t I Marry the Cute Beatle is some stories about things that happened to me, lessons I learned, laughs and tears I experienced in the last ten years. It’s about life and death, love and loneliness, growing older and finding the joke in it all. It’s just me talking to you about me… and maybe you’ll see some of yourself in the telling… if not, at least we can spend an evening together and have a couple of laughs.
